Terms of Sale and Use
In effect from 5 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use snagkeyz.com (the "Store") and when you buy from us. By using the Store or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Store.
Our Privacy Notice, Cookie Notice and Refund Policy also apply, and form part of your agreement with us.
We update these terms from time to time. The version on the Store when you place an order is the one that applies to that order. The date at the top shows when we last changed anything.
2. Who we are
The Store is operated by SNAGKEY LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17494415. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
Write to us at support@snagkeyz.com. We answer every message, usually within one working day.
3. Who can buy from us
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and able to enter into a contract.
By ordering you confirm that buying and using the products is lawful where you live, and that the details you give us are true and complete. We may refuse an order, ask for verification, or close an account if we have reason to doubt this.
If you are ordering for a company, you confirm you are allowed to commit that company, and these terms then apply to it.
4. Your account
Some features need an account. Keep your login details to yourself and keep them safe. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
Do not share, sell or transfer your account. If you think someone else has access to it, email us straight away at support@snagkeyz.com.
We use security measures such as login monitoring and additional verification. We may pause or close accounts where we see signs of fraud, abuse or repeated payment disputes.
5. What we sell
We sell digital products only: activation keys, licence codes, top-up codes and gift cards for PC games and related services. There is nothing to ship and nothing arrives in the post.
What you buy is a key that you redeem on a third party platform, usually Steam. Redemption is governed by that platform's own terms, which we do not control and cannot change.
6. Product listings, regions and compatibility
Many keys are tied to a region or a specific platform. Where that applies, the product page says so, and the restriction is part of what you are buying.
Check before you order that the key matches your region, your platform and your account. A key that will not activate because it was bought for the wrong region or platform is not a faulty key, and we cannot refund it on that basis.
We work to keep product information accurate, but this market moves fast: publishers change regional rules, platforms change requirements, and suppliers change how products are packaged. Occasional errors in a listing are possible. We may correct listings, change what we stock, limit how many units one customer can buy, or withdraw a product at any time.
7. Placing an order
When you complete checkout, you are making us an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your order confirmation or make the key available to you. That is the point at which a contract exists between us.
Before then we may decline your order - for example if the product has sold out, your payment is not authorised, a verification check is outstanding, or something about the order looks fraudulent. If we decline after taking payment, you get the money back through the same payment route.
Our records of your order, including timestamps and delivery logs, are evidence of what was ordered and when it was sent.
8. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euro and include any taxes we are required to charge. Payment is taken in full at checkout.
Your bank or card issuer may add charges of its own, such as currency conversion or cross-border fees. Those are yours to pay.
We try to keep prices right, but mistakes happen. If a price is obviously wrong - a product listed at a small fraction of its real value because something broke - we may cancel the order and refund you rather than honour it. The price that applies to your order is the one shown at checkout, unless the error is obvious.
Promotions and discount codes run for a limited time, may be withdrawn at any point, and may be limited to a certain number per customer.
9. How you get your key
We send keys by email to the address on your account, and they are also available in your account on the Store.
We aim to send every key within 24 hours of your payment clearing. Most arrive much sooner. Occasionally it takes longer - usually because an order is held for a security check, or because of a supplier or technical delay at our end.
Make sure the email address on your account is correct and that your mailbox can receive our messages. Check your spam folder before contacting us about a missing key.
Once we have sent you a key, or made it visible in your account, it is yours and it is your responsibility to keep it private. We cannot replace a key that someone else has used after you received it, whether through a shared account, a compromised mailbox, or an accidental disclosure.
10. If a key does not work
Contact us at support@snagkeyz.com before you try to activate it repeatedly.
Tell us what happened and include the error message you saw. We will check the key against our supplier records. If the key was faulty when we sent it, we will replace it, or refund you if we cannot.
We cannot help with problems caused by activating a key in the wrong region, on the wrong platform, or on an account that the platform has restricted.
11. Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer, you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase made online and get your money back.
Digital content works differently. When you buy a key from us, you are asking us to supply it immediately, and you accept that doing so ends your right to cancel. In practice: once we have sent you the key or shown it in your account, the 14 day right no longer applies.
If you have ordered but not yet received or viewed the key, you can still cancel within those 14 days. Email us and we will cancel the order and refund you.
Nothing here affects rights you have by law that cannot be signed away.
12. Refunds
Beyond the cancellation right above, we refund in these situations:
- we did not deliver your key;
- the key was faulty when we sent it and we cannot replace it;
- something went wrong on our side with your order.
We do not refund because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong thing, bought a key for the wrong region or platform, cannot run the game on your hardware, or a publisher has restricted your account.
Refunds go back to the payment method you used, and nowhere else. Timing depends on your bank, not on us. We may decline refunds where we see a pattern of abuse.
Our Refund Policy sets this out in more detail.
13. Payment disputes and fraud checks
We screen orders for fraud. This may mean asking you to confirm your identity or that you authorised the payment, and holding delivery while we check. If a check fails, or you do not complete it in reasonable time, we cancel the order and refund you.
If something is wrong with an order, come to us first. Raising a chargeback for a key that was correctly delivered is a breach of these terms. We will contest it, and we may close your account and refuse future orders.
14. Rules for using the Store
Do not:
- use the Store for fraud, money laundering or payments you are not authorised to make;
- get around security features, purchase limits or account checks;
- interfere with how pricing, promotions, discount codes or checkout work, or try to obtain a price or discount you are not entitled to;
- use bots, scrapers or automated tools on the Store without our written permission;
- pretend to be someone else;
- collect other customers' details;
- resell keys bought from us, unless the law and the relevant platform allow it;
- send unlawful, abusive or harmful content through any messaging feature we provide;
- interfere with how the Store runs, or try to break into any part of it.
We monitor for this kind of activity. Where we find it, we may cancel orders, suspend or close accounts, block access, and report the matter to payment providers or the authorities. Where something is urgent, we act first and explain afterwards.
15. Suspending or closing your account
We may limit, suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if your activity creates a security or fraud risk, if you repeatedly raise unfounded payment disputes, if you have given us false information, or if the law requires it.
Closing your account does not cancel anything already owed either way, and the sections that are meant to outlast your account - including sections 12, 16, 17 and 18 - stay in force. We are not required to explain how our fraud checks work.
If you think we got it wrong, email us. We will look at it again, though we cannot promise to reinstate an account.
16. Our content
Everything on the Store - the design, text, layout, code and databases - belongs to us or is licensed to us. You may use the Store for your own personal use; anything else needs our written permission. Game titles, artwork and store logos belong to their owners and appear here so you know what you are buying.
17. Availability and our liability
The Store is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, error free or uninterrupted, and we may take it down for maintenance or apply security measures that temporarily limit access.
We are responsible to you for loss we cause by breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for: loss that was not foreseeable when you ordered; a third party platform refusing to accept a key in circumstances that break that platform's own rules; or anything that happens because you did not keep your key or account details private. Where we are liable, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us exclude. If you are a consumer, your legal rights are unaffected.
18. If you cause us loss
If you are buying as a business rather than as a consumer, you agree to cover our costs - including reasonable legal fees - where they result from you breaking these terms, misusing the Store, breaking the law, infringing someone else's rights, giving us false information, or passing on or reselling keys you bought from us.
Where we are entitled to be covered in this way, we may handle the matter ourselves, and you agree to co-operate and not to settle it in a way that commits us to anything without our written agreement.
Nothing in this section applies to you if you are buying as a consumer.
19. Complaints, and the law that applies
Complaints. Email support@snagkeyz.com with your order number and what went wrong. We aim to respond within one working day and to resolve complaints within 14 days.
The law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
